Yes, the Random Generator App is completely free to use. There is also a Premium version available in the App Store that unlocks additional features and removes ads.
The free version displays some ads. With the Premium version or a Premium subscription, all ads can be completely removed.
The Random Generator App is currently available in:
German, English, Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish, French, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Hindi, Japanese, Italian, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian (Bokmål), Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish and Arabic.

Yes. We offer a specially adapted version of the app for Apple School Manager and Apple Business Manager. This version is available at a discounted rate for schools or organizations that purchase multiple licenses.
How to activate the app for your organization:
Make sure your school or organization is registered with Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager. Official Apple instructions can be found here: Apple School/Business Manager Guide.
Check that “Custom Apps” is enabled in your manager, so the app can be used by your organization. See this guide: Enable Custom Apps.
To provide the app, we need the exact name and organization ID of your institution. Please send this information to support@zufallsgenerator.app.
You can find these details in the portal under Settings → Enrollment Information.
Once you provide us with this information, we can make the app available for your organization.
This ensures that licenses are assigned correctly and that the app can be used smoothly.

With the Wheel of Fortune, you can enter names, tasks or options and select a random result by spinning the wheel. Perfect for raffles, games, classes or quick decisions.
In the dice feature you can choose for free between 1–6, 1–8, 1–12 and 1–16.
With the Premium version, you can use unlimited dice in any variants at the same time.
Yes, you can permanently save your groups and reuse them anytime. With a Premium subscription, your groups are also synchronized via iCloud across all devices. You can also share groups with other users.
You can find RandomAI in Settings → RandomAI and when adding people or groups.
Enter text or images and the AI will automatically create or extend suitable groups.
If you don’t want to use RandomAI, you can disable it anytime via
Settings → Advanced Settings → Hide RandomAI.
Yes. If you don’t want to use RandomAI, you can hide the feature in Settings → More Settings. This way, the random generator stays simple and clear, without any AI suggestions.
The AI-based Yes-or-No feature is only available on devices with Apple Intelligence. You need to activate it on the Yes-or-No screen. Then the AI can generate a random Yes or No for your questions.
Yes. You can hide the weighting of individual entries so that only the result is visible. This is especially useful if participants should not see that certain options are preferred.
To hide the weighting, tap the three dots in the top right corner and select “Hide weighting.” The weighting cannot be hidden from the settings (Group overview).
Yes. Tags can be hidden to keep the interface clean or to prevent others from seeing the underlying structure. This feature is perfect for presentations or hidden drawings.

Weighting allows you to control how likely a name is to be selected.
You can assign a number between 1 and 99 to each name. The higher the number, the higher the probability that this name will be chosen.
By default, all names have a weighting of 1.
Next to the weight icon, a percentage value is shown. This represents the actual probability of a name being selected. The percentage depends on how many names are in the group and how the weighting compares to the other names.
When “Avoid repetitions” is enabled, the weighting may not be fully applied for every draw, as names that have already been selected are excluded.
Note: Weighting is a Premium feature and is only available to Premium users.

Don’t worry, this rarely happens and can usually be fixed quickly:

Your data is stored locally on your device. With Premium, groups and settings are also synced via iCloud.
Your data is never uploaded without your consent. Only when sharing a group, its data is stored temporarily on our servers and deleted within 4 days.
RandomAI only uses the data you provide (text, images or existing groups). No additional personal data is collected or shared.
